Nu beginning...?

I went and deleted every post on this blog and on my old blog "distraction" which dated from April 2001 - June 2008. Something about a public record of my pre-parenthood drunken escapades, liberal political rants, and horrendous spelling -- spanning two blogs and 9 years of my life from 22 to 31 -- seemed like a potentially bad thing to have out there on the internets for anyone to see. Despite having not blogged since about February 2009, other than cute pictures and videos of my young daughters on my members only parenthood blog, I still sometimes find the urge to write a blog post...writing can be cathartic and facebook status updates sometimes just don't cut the mustard. So we'll see what happens here.
